Hello Health rolled out the second phase of tailored promotional outreach to the people of Williamsburg over the past four days via some of the neighborhood’s most popular coffee/brunch hotspots. Adapting the classic adage of “the way to one’s heart being through the stomach”, we greeted everyone with the surprise of free coffee/drinks (complete with Hello Health cup jackets) and the opportunity to talk with the Hello Health doctors.
Our coffee tour began last Thursday at The Bagelsmith, which is a ground zero stop-off for the hordes that flock to the Bedford Avenue L train stop. On Friday, we hit Fabiane’s Cafe and Pastry, which is also on Bedford Avenue but caters to a more relaxed, sit and eat/meet crowd. On Saturday, we covered the Lorimer Street stop territory by visiting the very cool Urban Rustic shop, which has become a hipster beacon for great food and sustainable business practices. We finished up yesterday with Phoebe’s Cafe, which is a hugely popular Sunday brunch spot for the folks in the area of the Graham Avenue L train stop.
Habitual regulars, coming in to get their morning coffee/drinks were, in a classic New Yorker fashion, in disbelief! They then received information on our flu shot promotion and had the chance to discuss Hello Health with Sean and Devlin. All in all, folks were extremely happy and open to the Hello Health cause.
